I wish I could remember where I came across the idea to paint lizard men (and related type troops) based on nature so I could give attribution.<br />John Yhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16465161620134394060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1796726216651686005.post-48246676170541313402012-10-09T18:43:09.417-04:002012-10-09T18:43:09.417-04:00Nice work! Certainly food for thought.Fitz-Badgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15510866929782142007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1796726216651686005.post-22576403023171680562012-10-09T10:38:48.301-04:002012-10-09T10:38:48.301-04:00Thanks, Chris! It's just black washed with a blue Citadel wash, and I used Delta Ceramcoat Opaque Yellow (which as it turns out, isn't. So some of the edges of the camo are darker). For the next one, I think I will "highlight" the black with a navy blue dry brush, and hit some of the yellow on the high spots with a pale yellow to see what happens.John Yhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16465161620134394060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1796726216651686005.post-26802852264123969602012-10-09T08:29:37.486-04:002012-10-09T08:29:37.486-04:00Wow! My problem when doing things like this (including camo) is how to highlight and shade it effectively. Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03436658698932425918noreply@blogger.com
